Whole30 Challenge
When: April 20th-May19th *You get menus and recipes for 30 days, check-in (accountability), encouragement, and support.  $50 Read below for more information.  Interested?? Let me know!!*

What is Whole30:
Nutritional program designed to change your life in 30 days. Think of it as a short-term nutritional reset, designed to help you put an end to unhealthy cravings and habits, restore a healthy metabolism, heal your digestive tract, and balance your immune system.

Why do Whole30:
Certain food groups (like sugar, grains, dairy and legumes) could be having a negative impact on your health and fitness without you even realizing it. Are your energy levels inconsistent or non-existent? Do you have aches and pains that can’t be explained by over-use or injury? Are you having a hard time losing weight no matter how hard you try? Do you have some sort of condition (like skin issues, digestive ailments, seasonal allergies or fertility issues) that medication hasn’t helped? These symptoms may be directly related to the foods you eat—even the “healthy” stuff. So how do you know if (and how) these foods are affecting you? Strip them from your diet completely. Cut out all the psychologically unhealthy, hormone-unbalancing, gut-disrupting, inflammatory food groups for a full 30 days. Let your body heal and recover from whatever effects those foods may be causing. Push the “reset” button with your metabolism, systemic inflammation, and the downstream effects of the food choices you’ve been making. Learn once and for all how the foods you’ve been eating are actually affecting your day to day life, and your long term health.

How does Whole30 work?
Yes: Eat meat, seafood, eggs, tons of vegetables, some fruit, and plenty of good fats from fruits, oils, nuts and seeds. Eat foods with very few ingredients, all pronounceable ingredients, or better yet, no ingredients listed at all because they’re totally natural and unprocessed.
NO: Added sugar of any kind (real or artificial), alcohol, grains, legumes (this includes soy and peanuts), dairy, carrageenan, MSG or sulfites.

Looking forward to the next 7 weeks!

Week 2

Good morning!!  Hope your weekend is filled with rest and joy---not a lot of rain, unfortunately. And speaking of rain, we have a chance for Monday.  So normally we start our week's ALWAYS at Rancho Grande Park, but not this week.  Let's plan for the Bandstand--rain or shine.  Just easier to keep everyone in ONE place. :)

Facebook followers might have seen that I am doing a 30 day Water Challenge starting TODAY, Sunday March 1st.  I am trying (scratch that) going to drink one gallon of water daily for 30 days and see how it changes my body and my health.  I drink water, but definitely NOT a gallon or even enough.  Water is so important for our bodies and I definitely can notice when I am not drinking enough.  Check out this article about a woman who does this challenge: http://www.dailyhiit.com/hiit-blog/hiit-life/woman-drinks-gallon-water-daily-30-days-see-happens/.

**If you are interested in joining me in my water experiment, let me know and I can add you to the FB page or check in with you to keep you accountable.   We can totally do this!!!

Locations for the week:

MONDAY: AG Bandstand (due to possible rain) for both 6am/9:15am

TUESDAY: AG Bandstand for TRX 6am *2 spots available

WEDNESDAY: Rancho Grande Park for 6am Tabata and 915am CardioCore

THURSDAY: AG Bandstand for TRX 6am *1 spot available

FRIDAY: RANCHO Grande Park for 6am Tabata

Also, this week only--NEW CIA CLIENTS ONLY can get 50% off their first session!  Seriously....if that's not a deal, then I don't know what is! :)

See you at the park!

Here. We. Go!!!!!!!

February 23rd-April 3rd

6 weeks!!!  All the usual classes, all the usual places, and the EXTRAORDINARY clients!  You guys are what drives the workouts to be EXTRAORDINARY---I provide the workout and you take it to the level that it needs to be at.  Looking forward to getting back to work!

This session:

Monday's are Circuits!
6am for the early birds or 9:15am for those who start their mornings a little slower.   We always start off our week at Rancho Grande Park!!

Tuesdays/Thursdays is TRX!  AG Rotary Bandstand
6am ONLY---6 spots ONLY.  Great low impact, strength based class.  Uses YOUR body weight---you control your workout, small group training for a more personalized workout.

Wednesday/Friday 6ams are Tabata! Rancho Grande Park
High Intensity Intervals, fast workouts, fast results, fast FUN! Can be low impact if needed.

Wednesday 9:15 is CardioCore! Rancho Grande Park and other 5 cities locations
Focused on cardiovascular endurance and strengthening those CORES.

Our classes offer small group training at group fitness prices.  Most gyms/studios etc are asking $20+/hour for a small group training---not us.  $10 a class when paying for the session or $13 for drop-ins.  You will not be lost in the class, you will not be able to hide in the back, you will be challenged, you will be noticed,  AND you will leave our class stronger, healthier, and PROUD!

We are at Rancho Park and Bandstand ALL WEEK!
Let's do it!

Week 5

2 weeks to go!  Don't lose momentum, keep your pace, stay focused....let's finish this session STRONG!!!

SuperBowl Sunday----it's here!  Drinks, food, fun, laughter are all involved---indulge, but don't OVER INDULGE.  That means, if you love a certain treat, enjoy it but say there is other food there that just isn't that special to you, pass it by.  Think of SuperBowl as a treat: out of the ordinary, special, etc.  Not an everyday type of eating/activity! Enjoy the day with family and friends.  Ally and I are headed down to Knotts Berry Farm for the day.  We enjoy most of the day there and then when the Super Bowl starts, we drive home.  NO TRAFFIC...it's the best!  See below for a little SuperBowl workout I found!

The FIRST session of 2015!

This has been a LONG and SHORT 2 week break.  I loved all the time with family and friends and celebrating---in those aspects it went by in a blink, but fitness wise...it's been FOREVER!  The first few workouts back are gonna be hard.  Getting back into routine, using muscles that have been on vacation, and the colder mornings.  I am always so impressed and inspired by your dedication to making yourselves healthier, stronger and fitter despite any of those obstacles.

Anyone get a FITBIT over the break?!  I did and I am loving it.  If any of you have one and want to be friends, let me know!  I love the daily challenges and goals I get to create for myself.  I always need accountability and to be challenged otherwise I can become stagnant and content.  And stagnant contentment is not a good thing in fitness.  How do you keep it fresh and challenging?

LOCATIONS:

Monday 6am/915am: Circuits at Rancho Grande Park
Tuesday/Thursday 6am: TRX at AG Rotary Bandstand
Wednesday/Friday 6am: Tabata at Rancho Grande Park
Wednesday 915am: Cardicore at Rancho Grande Park

Dust off those weights and mats, dress in layers, and bring your 2015 Fittitude (yep, that's totally a word) FIT+ATTITUDE=Fittitude!

Bring a friend this first week to any MWF (excludes TRX) class and they can try the WHOLE week for free.  Let's get them hooked on Core In Action Outdoor Fitness! And don't forget former Edge Members $25 off your first session---new CIA members only.

In health,
Danielle
